My Humming Word

The life’s haunting dreams surge like wildfires
Shadows whisper and echo unfulfilled desires
A friendship bleeds with love’s unspoken name
In worldly chorus the cacophony remains same.

Friendship whispers labyrinth of memory decay
Sending echoes of what could’ve been what may
I traverse ruins still untold of what could’ve been
Emitting whispers, what was what might’ve seen.

In this twilight’s haze I am lost and found so oft
On time’s relentless ground akin to a leaf adrift
Yet in the heartrending silence a spark still glows
Reposing in heart’s ember some teenage hopes.

Unlived life’s desires unmet, truth’s distant roar
Echoes and whispers say, ‘you’re not done sure’
The voyage is still on and the saga yet to unfold
In this twilight zone, the heart still remains gold.
