Sometimes
I have
This uneasy surmise
As if
You always had
A premonition
For what is in store
In times to come
In our fate
And life.
Sometimes
I have
This uneasy feeling
As if
You had a close
Brush of
Or rendezvous with
The misfortune,
For songs you sing
Poems you write
Convey less of happiness
More of a pain.
Sometimes
I have
This uneasy sensation
When I see
You live among
A plethora of people
Related and friendly
Yet appear so lonely
And so detached
With Scanty laughs
Or even smiles.
Sometimes
I too am worried,
Having given
All your affection
Courage and strength
Perseverance and resilience
Way back to me,
So to survive well
How do you cope with
So much stress
In your veins?
