It has been ages now
Since our innocence lost
A blank slot in my personal album
Still haunts me in solitude…
“May I have liberty to catch
Just one solo snap of yours…?”
“Well! then what you will do
With this single photograph…?”
That certainly was not the end
But a turning point of sort
That life took a zigzag course
Taking a heavy toll on an innocent soul.
She still remained a friend forever
Dearer than any other thing in life
He continued his journey of a loser
With many worldly achievements in life.
When he looks back in retrospection
At the spectrum of life even now…
He finds her in many moods around
Gloomy, detached, radiant and smiling.
Though gently accepted and pursued
Whatever was destined in life
But he continues to miss even now
That one shot which never materialized.
