My Humming Word

Chital – Jungle’s Grace

Golden coat with moonlit white spots
Simmer at the sunrise – soft and bright
Slender limbs, expressive eyes so wide
In dappled woods they leap and glide.

Lyre-shaped antlers crown the males
Quite long branching like a forest tale
They roam through teak and sal trees
Dance and play in pan India jungles.

Predators’ shadow, silent and near
Their life renews through every fear
A sudden leap defines jungle’s scene
Where swift chital stays forever keen.
