My Humming Word

Editor’s Choice

Wrapped in warm velvet magenta hue,
My pretty little cutie-pie, a soul anew.
Eyes closed, pinkish lips, a gentle sigh,
Innocent face in slumber reigns high.

Fingers curled, in a peaceful grasp,
A whispered prayer, a loving clasp.
Now, his world outside fades to hush,
Winter’s magic wraps him in a blush.

His curly hairs give, a serene delight,
A sleeping angel, pious and bright.
In dreams, may joy and love entwine,
Then wake up with a smile, so divine.
