My Humming Word

Muddy banks in the lake once hid view
Nowadays the waters wake in mirror-blue
A blush of lily petals; pink, wild and bright
Now bathes within the golden day light.

No longer choked by only mud and weed
The lilies breathe here from shadows freed
Far beyond, no more the mist-veiled crests
Now, there a lush green vegetation rests.
