Lotus

Just as, in the Sanatana Dharma
The lotus flower verily epitomizes
As an icon of goodness and purity
Despite its own origin in the mud
The leaves remaining untouched
By the muddy and polluted water!

An spiritually accomplished person
Is equipoise in body, mind & action
At all times pursuing sattvic gunas
For the goodness of people and self
Wholly remaining uncorrupted from
The confusion and chaos of Samsara.

(Here Sanatana Dharma refers to Hinduism, sattivic gunas are good human attributes, and Samsara is material world)
