My Humming Word

Editor’s Choice

Ever teetering and playful wind told
All good-looking leaves one fine day:
Come on, join me to dance and play
In the meadows, roadside and ravine…

To salute and solemnize the occasion
Of our shared fun and merry-making
Put on your choicest colorful dresses
In red, yellow, purple & golden-brown.

Summer days now turning dull and cold
The season is shaping to bid a goodbye
Hearing the wind’s lore with conviction
I knew for sure, it’s onset of the Autumn.
