I never loved you for your body or looks
But because you had touched my soul
In the same sequel if you still remember me
I won’t ever care if everyone else forget me.
The greatest happiness of my life still remain
That I was once worthy of your love and care
The very thought of being loved by someone
Gave enormous strength and courage in life.
Although many believe holding makes a winner
I surmise that letting go too was no less better
Yet I still long and wish for the time opportune
If only we could be together for a moment again.
They say you miss someone when you are alone
Then why I miss you even when I am in a crowd
Even so hopeful, this yearning will someday end
Yet if it remains unmet, I won’t be astonished.
