I’m so emotionally attached to it,
Like a valued antiquity in my life.
She is pretty and cute
Her looks and demeanour
Often appear so alike, that it
Evokes memories of a teenage friend.
While in a cheerful mood
I inquired of her once
What she thinks about Rajnigandha.
Her reply was simple and prompt…
Rajnigandha! It’s a ‘paan masala’
Of a very popular brand.
Stupefied for a moment
What an antithesis!
But I recovered fast
Admiring her simplicity
And innocence.
