My Humming Word

Editor’s Pick

An open teardrop, a silent public sign
Where heavy hearts and truths align
An aching heart’s implicit, abrupt rain
That speaks the honest truth of pain.

But unavowed is the soul’s esoteric art
Of one who guards the fractured heart
He wraps haunting shadows out of sight
And shrouds his bleeding wounds in light.

He paints a gentle smile upon the grey
Flipping abysmal, desolate nights to day
The sad spirit wanders in search of peace
Yet it offers world around a gentle grace.
