The light half of the lunar month
From the new-moon to full-moon
And the dark half of same month
That is a period of waning moon.
Because I am so deeply charmed
And so affectionately involved,
With your such swinging moods
Sometimes I am in the spirits
While sometimes in the blues.
I tend to be overly possessive
Watching you while on the wane
I am then dispirited and heartbroken
Lonely, sad, depressed and withdrawn.
But when you shine to a full-moon
And look so liberated and sublime
I too feel very inspired and elated
Calm, controlled, content and serene.
