Of late, a friend catechized me:
Is there such a paucity of words
That you are generously using
Adjectives as title of poesies?

I parried rather ungrudgingly:
Look, I often use it consciously
As qualifiers could indeed be
An apt choice for a poem’s title…

First of all, it can intrigue readers
Provide an evocative and incisive
Summary of the rhyme’s theme…
It’s centre image, concept and tone.
