Transcending Love

Resounding echoes of the absence
Muffled whispers of the memories
Lifeless beats of the hollowed heart
Are aide-memoire of one’s dire loss

Throbbing agony of an aching soul
Melancholy of an ever longing heart
Pining sensation of a nostalgic wait
Live eternal legacy of one’s yearning

An intense and timeless aching void
An unbearable, gnawing emptiness
A lonesome heart’s imposing strain
Mirror acute pain of one’s separation

And all this…

For one is simply unable to set aside
Aura of shining bright sparkling eyes
Ecstatic jiffies of their stolen glances
Beating heart, and aflutter butterflies

That enkindled to manifest…

A selfless and sublime deep attachment
An incessant flame of eternal fondness
Intoxicating emotions, transcending love
It kindled only to bloom forever in heart.
