July days of the Gregorian almanac,
The fifth month of Vikrama Samvat
This is Hindu Shravan maas, for me
It’s always been special and unique.

Be it a milestone time for the academics
Or a panorama regarding the life events
The month is nostalgic in so many ways –
Of pleasure & pain with a lasting impact.

Culturally, in our Sanatana way of life
It’s an opportune time for fiesta & rains
As well very notable in own personal life
As mine & loved ones’ auspicious dates.

Lastly, as something not to let-slip ever
July continues as a fateful epoch in life
An aeon I had a rendezvous with my life
Also a time I lost once and for rest of life.
