This world has no other nation
With so copious cultural diversity
Yet bound by a formidable unity
A unique and unambiguous blend
Of different customs and traditions
In this oldest surviving civilization.
Alas some dark forces, their minions
Are out to wreck the age-old traditions
Of the Bhartiya culture and religions
Peace, harmony and prosperity of nation
With their exotic and ill-conceived notion
Of the “sectoral god”, culture and religion.
(The “nation” refers to India and the “sectoral god” refers to a divinity claimed by any particular person, group or religion as the only true god. God is omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent, universal and same for the mankind and all living and non-living entities. “Bhartiya” means Indian and “Bhartiya religions” are Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism but the Indian culture endorses and welcomes all religions of the world.)
