Missing A Soulmate

People search for the whole life
Only lucky find back a lost soulmate
Losing someone in life is hard
Some say it is easier each passing day.
Though it is farther by one day
Since last time they were together
But it is also closer by one day
Next when possibly they can meet.

But missing you early in life
Was hard like living in desert
Roaming daily in search of oasis
Instead finding only a mirage…
Or like getting stranded castaway
On a remote and uninhabited island
And waiting endlessly for the ship
To come for rescue to the mainland.
