He met his nemesis
Abruptly and suddenly
With his sad demise
While he exhausted
His precious last breath
When umpteen desires
Were still in store
Unfulfilled and waiting…

I feel liberated
With mind equipoised
And mortal body alive
With umpteen breaths
Still left in balance
Yet without any worldly
Cravings or desire, leaving
Me in peace and pure bliss.
