What is great and extraordinary
In loving and romancing, someone
Only to break up after a while
For whatever mundane reasons…?

But following this moving apart
If one still eternally continues
To yearn and love the person
That is the real test and criterion
Say a touchstone, what is love!

Alas! This is one stark reality 
He ruminates now in solitude
Which he learnt only after losing
His best ever friend and soulmate,
Whom he truly loved and cared.
