After failure in a love affair
The lover inevitably turns to
Perpetual Poetry and Shayari
To recite and ordain Mehfils
Roam around place to place
Mapping hills, deserts and oceans
Tasting exotic cuisine everywhere
And never forgets daily hot drinks
With the classy whisky and wine…
On the other hand
An accomplished lover
Spends rest of the life
In scheming all the time
How to secure green chilies
& coriander leaves for free
Negotiates with not so friendly grocer
Takes care, carry child and bags
While beloved is on shopping spree
Absolutely unaware when the romance
And love died in this awful routine.
