The reticent mind cleverly maneuvers
To stay away from the city seeking solace
From the haunting memories and thoughts
But the resilient heart simply craves
And compels him time and again
Coming back to this city to simulate
In a dilemma to do or not to do
Revisiting fateful moments and places
Where love and friendship once grew
And met a nemesis of perpetual pain and loss.
