My Humming Word

Found her in the adolescent age
But for many errors and follies
He lost her proximity so soon
Years of love, longing, absence and loss
In the passage of time he found her again
Only to lose as promptly yet again.

Engrossed in worldly chorus and routine
He lives now life of a virtual recluse
After day long hard work, at sunset
He remorsely ponders in his solitude
For how long it will continue or last
This painful game of found and lost.

Despite skepticism about the prophecy
And philosophy of the life and death
He so ardently desires union with her
In time through a revival or rebirth.
