A bud or the gorgeous florets of rose
Red, yellow, peach, lavender, orange,
Pink, purple, with a lot more colours;
Of prismatic hues & subtle fragrance?
The aged savant’s response was gentle:
Both are slices of the universal life cycle
A bud is as relevant as glooming flower
Being an embodiment as well harbinger
As in humans, body and actions change
But love is ethereal and unchanged ever.
