Be it a person or substance
All and sundry should have
A threshold beyond which
One must be discarded…

As an administrator at work
But a true gentleman in life
He so scrupulously followed
To effectually deal with things

Yet it remained an enigma
Why very threshold variable
Didn’t work at all when applied
To the most valued soul in life!
