That our destinies are linked
Or is it just a legacy of past
Someone close to the heart?

Despite being worlds apart
Whenever I find you sad
Thoughtful and detached
That moment I miss you most
Besides feeling it too bad.

Despite being worlds apart
Whenever I see you smile
I wish I could monopolize
The moment I find you in spirits
I too feel elated and jubilant
