When cheerful folks exclaim ‘Holi Hai!’
It triggers out an upsurge of emotions
A rainbow splash of fascinating colours
Swinging, vacillating and dancing folks
Body drenched in wet and dry colours
Exchanging & sharing sweets and gifts
Wittingly cracking laughter and smiles
In an ambience of fun & frolic for hours…

Also, the very surroundings have souls –
Cool, composed like any other occasion
They take life just black & white forever
So Holi carries no special flair or flavour
With usual tranquil look of a steady soul
In complete harmony with ‘black & white’
For they feel, the black absorbs all stain
While white keeps in control and serene.
