Carrying ample hope and optimism
For peace, prosperity and wellness
And to revive a few soulful thoughts.
Regarding triumph of divine over evil
In as well as victory of light over dark
In essence, this implies a simple truth
Of knowledge prevailing on ignorance.
Celebrations fit so well on occasion…
People light their homes with diyas;
Exchange greetings, sweets & gifts;
And pray for well-being of each other.
