Never touched
In a relationship
Marked with
Acrimony and mistrust
But under compulsion
They dragged on
Like strangers as ever.

They shared together
A short time
Then their paths
Never crossed
Yet trust and faith
Evolved in moments
During last rendezvous
Budded and bloomed
In everlasting friendship
Affection and care
In life forever.
