My Gratitude

From my balcony at the early dawn
I watch the canopy of green plants
A flock of cute birdies are chirping
The nightingale sings sweet melodies
A peacock showing off sapphire feathers
Squirrels squeak, langurs are chattering
All in peace and harmonious co-existence
A rare occurrence in the concrete jungle
My gratitude to mother earth and nature
For this harmony and my own existence.
