Heart is deeper than the high seas

Heart is very often complacent
Brain is ruthless on many times
Heart is exalted & sublime each time
Brain may nurture anger and hatred
Heart pulsates for compassion & love.
I know well a man
Who in impending dilemma
Had then relied on his brain
His reward was all worldly gain
But nemesis was a lifelong pain
I leave it to you to judge your own
Whether to go by the heart or brain.
