When you were around in life
Pink and blue were my favourite
Then you had far away gone
Colours in life did not remain
What was still left behind
It’s all only black and white.
May you live in everlasting bliss
I have accepted loss with grace
In this long journey without colours
Holi too has neither flair nor flavour
You look prettier ever in colours
So I wish you rainbow colours.
If I say so, please be not surprised
I am in peace with black and white
Because with white, all colours shine ~
And it keeps me in control and serene
Then black absorbs all without stain –
It camouflages well emotions and pain.
