One is wholly engrossed with mother
In the latter’s cozy comfort and care
Absolutely carefree as also unaware
While sucking from her opulent udder…
The doe is affectionately feeding fawn
Yet she is quite nervous and vigilant
She is aware of the hostile environment
Enemies looming large with latent threat.
